Rotisserie Chicken Is A Requirement For Easy And Flavorful Slider Sandwiches
BY ELIZABETH OKOSUN
Sliders are a highly customizable party favorite, and you don't even have to use beef burgers. Delicious chicken sliders are a snap to make with a pre-cooked rotisserie chicken.
Pile some shredded rotisserie chicken into a slider-sized bun, and you have a blank canvas for variants like BBQ coleslaw or spicy grilled pineapple chicken sliders.
First, shred the chicken and portion it based on how many sliders you’re making. For Buffalo chicken sliders, try using sweet Hawaiian rolls, Buffalo sauce, mozzarella, and ranch.
For pesto chicken, parmesan, and garlic sliders, use standard dinner rolls, then mix pesto, parmesan, and a dash of basil with the chicken.
Brush butter on the buns and add a pinch of salt, assemble the sandwiches, and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted into the chicken and the buns are toasted.
