Replace Your Overnight Oats With A Special Grab-And-Go Oatmeal Breakfast
BY Elizabeth Okosun
Rather than overnight oats that require a bowl, baked oatmeal is a block you can slice and grab on the go for breakfast. It boasts the flavor of regular overnight oats.
The hearty dish is tender and moist with a slightly crisp exterior. To make it, mix your oats with baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
You don't need to blend the oats, but some recipes suggest doing so for a cake-like texture. Once the dry ingredients are mixed, combine them with eggs, milk, and melted butter.
Then, spoon the mixture into a greased baking dish. Finally, heat your oats at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
