20. Balsamic Garlic Steak
The steak in the Balsamic Garlic Steak was extremely tough, and the balsamic sauce gave it a strong acidic flavor rather than a balanced, sweet-tangy one.
The mashed potatoes were grainy yet watery in texture and lacking flavor. As for the green beans, they would have been fine had they not been smothered in that acidic sauce.
The cauliflower rice in this offered both chewy and hard bites. The chicken, bell pepper, and zucchini came in a tomatillo sauce that tasted like wilted cilantro.
Being super spinach forward, the Creamy Spinach and Tomato Linguini kept the other flavor elements, like the tomatoes or creamy sauce, from shining through.
Paired with a sauce that tasted like nothing besides spinach, the pasta was strangely cut into small pieces, which gave the frozen meal a weird, gummy texture.
The pesto in this bowl tasted too sharp and harsh, and nothing about the meal felt particularly cohesive. However, the cherry tomatoes added some freshness.
Although the pasta didn't have a bad texture, the sauce didn't cling to it. You can expect some bites of plain, barren pasta and others with huge clumps of the awful pesto sauce.
While there was very little sausage in the Cajun-style chicken and sausage meal, it had lots of chicken, beans, veggies, cauliflower rice, and a Cajun sauce.
The meal's flavors were all over the place, with the tastiest thing being the barley-present sausage. Plus, the cauliflower rice added an unnecessary texture.
