Ranking Frozen Asian-inspired Food From Trader Joe’s

Chicken Soup Dumplings
Unfortunately, we didn't eat more than one of the dumplings, as we were severely underwhelmed. We deemed this one of Trader Joe's worst "soup" offerings.
Chicken Karaage
This was essentially chicken nuggets and flavored mayonnaise, so needless to say, we were pretty glum when that's all this package of chicken karaage contained.
Cha Siu Bao
The dough was a little dry when we bit into the bao, but the pork filling was delicious. We felt like it needed a sauce, but overall, the buns were yummy.
Pork Shu Mai
The overall flavor was good but fairly bland and slightly sweet in a way that we weren’t expecting. Preparation was easy, but it just wasn’t appetizing.
Chicken Chow Mein
Overall, this was pretty good for a frozen chicken chow mein dinner, and we would definitely eat it again if we needed a quick and easy meal.
