Per Princess Diana's chef Darren McGrady, she adored tomato mousse that included blended and strained tomatoes, fat-free cream cheese, sour cream, and chicken stock.
McGrady used to serve it with a side of lobster tails. He flavored the plate with dill, chives, salt, and pepper, yielding a floral complement to all the fat-free dairy products.
Apparently, Diana's favorite dessert was bread and butter pudding. This dessert involves soaking old bread in milk, eggs, and butter, among other ingredients.
Admittedly, though, Diana didn't eat this dessert on a regular basis, as she tended not to indulge in desserts too often when she started taking better care of her health.
When Princess Diana was trying to eat healthier, one of her favorite foods was stuffed bell peppers. McGrady states that she would ask for it four times a week.
The bell peppers would be stuffed with veggie ingredients like rice and mushrooms, topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and finished with smoked tomato and pepper sauce.
Princess Diana didn't eat a lot of fatty or calorie-laden foods, so one of her favorite dishes was light and nutrients-rich salads, according to her personal chef, McGrady.
Princess Diana was keen on trying new things when she started eating a healthier diet. During this time, vegetable juice became one of her favorites, per McGrady.
The chef told Mashed that Diana was a trendsetter in this area: "She was juicing before, I think, anybody had even heard of it." At one point, she mostly liked beetroot juice.
