Paul Hollywood Follows A Strict 15-Minute Rule When Baking Scones

"King of Bread" Paul Hollywood shared in a video on his Instagram account his three fundamental tips for baking scones, including the 15-minute rule.
Hollywood explained that he doesn't bake his scones in the oven for longer than 15 minutes. He added that this ensures your scones will be "spot-on" almost every time.
The 15-minute rule ensures that your scones don't get too brown in the oven. Overbaking will only cause the pastry to dry out, thus rendering it dried and flavorless.
