Our Least Favorite Canned Beans At Aldi

For good reasons, Dakota's Pride Great Northern beans ranked lowest in our list of 13 Aldi canned beans. First, the beans came in a gross goop we had to remove before tasting them.
Second, they were too mushy and lacked texture. With no bite or substance to their structure, the beans are simply incapable of adding heft to dishes, be it a bean salad or curry.
Lastly, the beans remained super-salty even after we removed the liquid. Hence, they aren't ideal for adding to dishes that have already been seasoned well, which is a real issue.
