Our Favorite Gourmet Burger Chains We've Found Across America
BY Tasting Table Staff
BurgerFi
Dani Zoeller recommends BurgerFi, as there’s something for many appetites and preferences. Zoeller’s favorite is the CEO burger, with its patty made with a blend of wagyu.
The fries are just as tasty. In addition to being simply topped with salt, you can get them in several styles: Cajun, truffle, parmesan and herb, or urban.
Habit Burger Grill
The Habit Burger Grill uses 100% fresh ground beef patties chargrilled over an open flame, giving them that fresh-grilled look and taste.
Carmen Varner prefers to order the Charburger and likes that the chain has a condiment bar with ketchup, mustard, pickled jalapeños, chili peppers, pepperoncini, and other items.
7th Street Burger
New York City’s 7th Street Burger is burger therapy for Sara Kay. It brings simple, delicious burgers to hungry customers with as little complication as possible.
The no-frills menu is as easy as it gets: cheeseburger with an option to make it a double, an Impossible burger, and fries with the option to make them "loaded" with additions.
Bad Daddy's
Sierra Winters’ choice is Bad Daddy's, the classic sports bar and restaurant you know and love, with high-quality, cutting-edge burgers.
One of Bad Daddy's best features is its build-your-own-burger menu. Winters also recommends getting the sweet potato fries and a shake like the Chunky Elvis shake.
Bareburger
Bareburger is an icon in the New York City burger scene. The company boasts beef burgers crafted with hormone-free, grass-fed meat from Vermont farms.
Hunter Wren Miele pointed out that the chain offers more than beef patties; Bareburger also offers Impossible, bison, and elk burgers, such as the Spicy Paul Bunyan bison burger.
