Mozzarella Stuffed Bread Is Very Easy When You Use The Air Fryer
BY STEPHANIE FRIEDMAN
For a quick appetizer that's perfect for the whole family, go for a mozzarella-stuffed pull-apart loaf. This fancy-looking dish gets a whole lot simpler when you use an air fryer.
Simply slice a loaf of bread lengthwise and crosswise, or diagonally in one-inch sections, stopping just before you reach the bottom. Wedge the mozzarella balls in the cracks.
Brush the whole thing with olive oil and throw it in the air fryer. After about 10 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, you'll have cheesy bread that's easy to rip apart.
When choosing your bread, pick a sturdy loaf that will fit in your air fryer and can hold all that cheese and oil, like sourdough or French bread. Cut it with a serrated knife.
Mozzarella pearls will be easiest for this dish, but you can also use shredded cheese. Simply sprinkle the cheese in the cracks of the bread and drizzle olive oil on top.
No matter what shape of mozzarella you use, just remember to adjust your air frying time. Shredded will require 5 minutes, while balls require the full 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
