In Miami, crab is in ample supply and featured in countless delicious dishes, but it can be tricky to decide where to dine when there are so many seafood spots in the city. For celebrity chef Martha Stewart, one place tops them all: a charming, family-style eatery called Joe’s Stone Crab, which was founded all the way back in 1913.

Stewart urges fans to choose Joe's Stone Crab when in Miami Beach, writing in an Instagram post, "We love this 100+ year old eatery and its delicious crabs and key lime pie!" The spot first spiked in success when owner Joe Weiss decided to serve a local, little-known crab called the stone crab, which proved to be delicious and lucrative.

The menu at Joe’s Stone Crab also features shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, conch fritters, chowder, paella, and lobster rolls, and even steak, fried chicken, and burgers. Since limited reservations are available, bring some patience if you decide to just walk in and wait for a table, but more importantly, bring your appetite.
