Looks Like We've Been Eating Cupcakes Wrong All Along
BY JAVARIA AKBAR
The usual method of biting into a cupcake top-down can be messy. A tidier alternative (especially helpful at children's birthday parties) is to create a frosting-centered sandwich.
For optimal cupcake eating, remove the wrapper and evenly break off half the cake from the base using your fingers or a knife.
Place the broken cake on top of the frosting, creating a cupcake sandwich that's easy to pick up and guarantees a tidy, mess-free bite.
This technique also creates an ideal blend of flavors in each mouthful, unlike the overload of icing and minimal cake in conventional bites.
