Kirkland's Frozen Fries Are Intriguing Costco Shoppers
BY Luna Christina Lupus
Redditor adavidw spotted 5-pound bags of new frozen Kirkland Signature Extra-Crispy French Fries at a Salt Lake City Costco for $6.79, and they're in stock all over north Utah.
The packaging says the fries are supposed to be extra crispy, and one reviewer, who made them in an air fryer, corroborates that. However, they're also suitable for oil frying.
Another person pointed out that these fries remind them of the Lamb Weston brand, igniting some speculation about whether that's the manufacturer behind Kirkland's new product.
Customers seem quite pleased with the price point, too. The standard-cut fries are especially exciting because crinkle cut ones were the only option at Costco for a long time.
