Jay Fai: One Of Bangkok's Cheapest Michelin-Starred Restaurants
By MICHELLE WELSCH
A meal at Michelin-starred restaurants around the world can set you back hundreds of dollars, but diners can enjoy Jay Fai's signature dishes without breaking the bank.
In 2018, Junsuta, now more commonly known by her establishment’s name Jay Fai, gained international publicity after Raan Jay Fai was awarded a Michelin star.
Since then, Fai has continued serving seafood and noodle dishes to visitors eager to taste Michelin-starred food at more affordable prices.
For as low as $14, curious travelers can sample some of Fai's most famous recipes, like drunken noodles and spicy tom yum goong.
Diners can try the fried crab omelet for $35. It’s a deep-fried burrito-like treat with generous servings of crab meat and eggs that can satiate the hungriest of visitors.
