Ina Garten's First Ever Martini Was Crafted By Stanley Tucci At 9 a.m.

Ina Garten knows how to craft a cocktail, and even went viral in 2020 by showing her Instagram followers how to mix up a giant pitcher of a fruity, vodka-based cosmopolitan. However, Garten only recently tasted her first authentic martini, and it was crafted for her by actor and well-known foodie Stanley Tucci as a morning sip.
Tucci's martini recipe can be made with either gin or vodka, is ultra-dry (AKA ultra-light on vermouth), and always stirred. Garten describes having the drink while filming her show "Be My Guest with Ina Garten," telling "The Drew Barrymore Show," "It was 9 in the morning [...] the way Stanley made it was incredible. It was delicious."
Tucci also commented on his time appearing on Garten's show, stating "I made a martini for her and she made Oysters Rockefeller — my God, it was so good. She's so interesting, and she'd never had a martini before." Garten followed Tucci’s lead and had her martini with both olives and lemon, saying "It was just delicious."
