Ina Garten's 3-Ingredient Chicken Dinner Is Made For Kitchen Rookies
BY JULIA HOLLAND
Ina Garten has plenty of tricks to make a quick and easy dinner. In her cookbook “Barefoot Contessa at Home,” she has a simple chicken dinner with goat cheese and basil.
Her recipe is an all-in-one sheet pan meal that takes 10 minutes to prepare and about 40 minutes to cook. She uses an herb and garlic-infused goat cheese to impart more flavor.
The recipe uses boneless chicken breasts with the skin on. Garten peels back the skin, tops it with the cheese and basil, then stretches the skin back over to seal the ingredients.
She drizzles olive oil and a generous helping of salt and cracked pepper over the skin before sliding the pan into the oven to bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.
