Iced Nespresso Pods Vs Regular: What's The Difference?
BY PEGGY AOKI
Nespresso's iced coffee pods are designed to stand up to the dilution from melting ice and cold milk. However, you can also use their other pods to make iced coffee.
Nespresso's specific iced capsule blends prevent the bitterness that comes with brewing coffee directly into ice. You can do the same with regular pods with one small alteration.
To chill down coffee from a regular espresso or coffee capsule, pick one of the capsules in the Barista Creations section since they were created to mix well with added milk.
However, instead of brewing your regular coffee directly over ice, allow the coffee to cool a bit so the ice doesn't melt too much, or you risk a watered down coffee.
