How To Reheat Chicken Fried Steak And Keep Its Crunch
BY AUSTIN HAVENS-BOWEN
To maintain the crunch factor of your leftover chicken fried steak, avoid the microwave at all costs. Instead, utilize an air fryer or a conventional oven.
An air fryer is faster than waiting for your regular oven to preheat, although the oven is a solid second choice. Either way, store the gravy separately to prevent sogginess.
If you use an air fryer, set the temperature to 350 degrees F so the steaks come out warm and crispy. Depending on the thickness, it should take three to four minutes.
