How To Make Easy Breakfast Empanadas With Store-Bought Dough
BY PEGGY AOKI
Out of the countless easy-to-make handheld breakfast options, empanadas might just be the easiest, especially when you make them using store-bought dough.
Store-bought empanada dough comes in evenly sized circles separated by a thin plastic sheet to prevent the dough from sticking. All you need to do is stuff them with fillings.
The hardest part of making breakfast empanadas might be deciding on your fillings. Scrambled eggs, cheese, breakfast sausage, and smoked salmon are all good options.
If you want to go the sweet route, consider fillings like frozen or fresh fruit, walnuts, maple syrup, cream cheese, sugar, and cinnamon.
