How To Make Delicious Scrambled Eggs Without A Stove
By ALISA PIERCE
Scrambled eggs are one of the quickest and tastiest dishes to make for breakfast, whether they're sandwiched in a bagel or stuffed into tortillas with chorizo. However, scrambled eggs are much less easy to make if you don't have access to a stove — but if you have this other kitchen appliance, you're in luck.
A rice cooker provides an alternative way to cook scrambled eggs in a pinch. To try this method, Smart Slow Cooker says to whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper, then coat the rice cooker pan with nonstick spray, butter, or oil; add the eggs and turn the machine to either the "cook" or "warm" setting, and cover.
Cook the eggs for about 2 minutes, stirring periodically with a wooden spoon as the mixture thickens. As with any scrambled egg recipe, you have to monitor the consistency to avoid overcooking; with a bit of patience and care, you should end up with fluffy and moist eggs without touching a stove dial.
