How Many Restaurants Does Marcus Samuelsson Own?
By  KATHERINE BECK
Marcus Samuelsson has been in the food industry for many years, hosting shows like "Top Chef Masters” and “Chopped All-Stars,” as well as collaborating with the World Central Kitchen organization during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, he is also a successful businessman thanks to his many restaurants worldwide.
It was from his flagship restaurant, Red Rooster in NYC, that Samuelsson oversaw the creation of meals for the pandemic. As of October 31, 2022, his restaurant empire, which he operates out of Harlem, includes 12 restaurants around the world; a few of his U.S. restaurants are Red Rooster and Ginny's Supper Club.
Some of his restaurants have more than one location, such as Streetbird, which offers food in Las Vegas, Yankee Stadium in NYC, and the Bahamas. Samuelsson has also established restaurants in Scandinavia, like the Norda Bar & Grill in Sweden, where he grew up, and in Norway.
