How Many Restaurants Does Gordon Ramsay Actually Own?
By AUTUMN SWIERS
Gordon Ramsay is a seven-Michelin-starred chef known for his shows “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Kitchen Nightmares,” as well as his aggressive personality and colorful language. The chef opened his first restaurant, the eponymous Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, in 1998, and has since opened a surprisingly high number of other establishments.
Ramsay owns a whopping 58 restaurants around the world, ranging from Michelin-starred formal establishments to quick and casual spots and cafés that offer burgers, pizzas, and other convenient eats. The aforementioned Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London is also the longest-running three-starred restaurant in the city.
Ramsay averages 2.4 new restaurant openings per year, which is pretty impressive, considering what it takes to open just one restaurant. Some of his eateries include Gordon Ramsay Burger, Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, and Bread Street Kitchen, and countries where Ramsay does business include China, France, Korea, and Malaysia.
