How Long It Takes To Make Crispy Hash Browns In An Air Fryer
BY STEPHANIE FRIEDMAN
The air fryer is a quick and easy way of cooking crunchy hash browns. If you're using shredded, frozen spuds, they’ll only need to air fry for 20 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you're using frozen diced or cubed potatoes instead, you'll want to go for about 30 minutes at the same temperature, or 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Pre-prepared frozen hash brown patties will take around 10 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. If you grate fresh potatoes, they'll be done in 8 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
You’ll want to preheat your air fryer before popping your hash browns in, so they begin crisping up right away. It’s also a good idea to spray the basket with a little olive oil.
Toss your hash browns in more oil and some seasonings before air frying them. Make sure to spread them out in an even layer in the basket and flip them halfway through cooking.
