How Long It Takes To Make A Baked Potato In The Air Fryer
BY JESSIE MOLLOY
If you want to bake a potato faster than the oven does, but you don’t want the soggy downside of the microwave, use an air fryer to cook it in mere minutes and keep it crispy.
Simply wash the potatoes and poke holes in the skin as you normally would, then evenly coat them in oil and sea salt and pop them in the air fryer basket.
After 30 minutes at 400 degrees F, flip them over and cook for another five minutes, or until you can easily pierce them with a fork. Larger potatoes may take a bit longer.
If the potatoes aren't done, keep cooking in three to five minute intervals. The air fryer may not bake as many potatoes at once, but it's quick and creates perfect crispy skin.
