How Long Does Tiramisu Need To Chill Before Serving?
BY JENNA WOS
Featuring layers of coffee-soaked ladyfinger cookies, sweet mascarpone, and cocoa powder, tiramisu must rest for at least six hours so it can achieve the best texture and flavor.
As it chills, the mascarpone filling firms up and holds its shape while the ladyfingers soften as they soak up the coffee, taking on an even richer flavor.
You can also let the dessert rest for even longer (up to 24 hours) so the flavors more thoroughly meld with the cocoa, mascarpone, coffee, and cookies as well as become richer.
