How Ina Garten Streamlines Chicken Pot Pie With Biscuit-Topped Stew

Chicken pot pie can be time-consuming to make. To streamline the process, Ina Garten removes the pie crust and transforms this dish into a hearty stew with biscuits on top.
Garten prepares the stew similarly to traditional filling. Then, she places it in a baking dish, tops it with homemade biscuit dough, and bakes it to give it a farmhouse flair.
While Garten likes to make her own biscuits, feel free to use your favorite store-bought variety. You can even customize them with spice, garlic butter, or cheese.
