In Tasting Table's list ranking 11 Trader Joe's frozen appetizers, the Pastry Bites with Feta Cheese and Caramelized Onions took the top spot.
When baked, the feta of these flaky, crispy, buttery mini pastry cups melts just slightly for a salty and firm bite, which complements the slightly sweet and jammy onions.
The package advises you to use an "oven-safe tray," but some have reported that the tray melts. It may be best to place the pastry bites directly on a sheet pan to bake them.
