Here’s How To Use Parchment Paper To Make Mess-Free Fried Eggs
By RYAN CASHMAN
While they are usually easy to make, fried eggs can stick to the pan and fall apart when flipped. To prevent this, you don't need to buy a special egg ring or nonstick pan.
Parchment paper is an easy way to keep your fried eggs from coming out messy. To try it, start by lining your pan with a small sheet of parchment as it warms up over medium heat.
Once the pan is hot, place a knob of butter on the parchment and crack an egg directly onto the sheet. Cover with a lid and wait until the white turns opaque and the yolk stiffens.
When the egg is cooked to your liking, uncover the pan and slide your egg off the parchment paper onto your plate. It will be effortless due to the parchment's nonstick abilities.
Once you’re finished, all you need to do is discard the paper and give your pan a rinse. The eggs may not get as crisp, but you might be willing to sacrifice that for less mess.
