Gordon Ramsay's Luxurious Breakfast Sandwich Is Served On A Brioche Bun

While brioche bread may not be as durable as other rolls, Gordon Ramsay knows that it's a delicious option for breakfast that holds up well to eggs.
A brioche contains sugar and butter — flavors that pair well with both sweet and savory dishes. So, this slightly sweet option offers the perfect vehicle for an egg sandwich.
To give your egg sandwich a Ramsay-inspired upgrade, fry bacon and shallots on the stove. Then, toast thick brioche slices and put them in the pan fat leftover from fried bacon.
In a separate pan, crack eggs alongside butter, which acts as a thickener. Once everything's cooked, add crème fraîche, onions, and season with salt and pepper.
With this filling nearly ready, sandwich it between those beloved, toasted brioche buns. Ramsay then likes to add a final touch of cheese in the form of goat and cheddar.
