Gordon Ramsay Was Very Impressed By Dorm Room Filet Mignon

In a duet TikTok, Gordon Ramsay expressed appreciation for a student who demonstrated how they cook filet mignon from the comfort of their college dorm room.
Well-cooked filet mignon requires bringing the steak to room temperature before cooking, proper seasoning, and high cooking heat, all of which can be achieved in a dorm room.
In the TikTok, Ramsay is clearly impressed with the ingenuity and cooking technique of the student. "Kid, what happened to the $3 ramen!" he exclaims.
As the student prepares the steak with oil, butter, garlic, and rosemary, Rosemary observes that the basting is beautifully done. "This kid knows what they're doing!" he gushes.
As the student finishes, Ramsay reiterates delight and stresses the importance of letting the meat rest before serving to allow the juices to settle and get a tender cut of meat.
In fine form, the student does what Ramsay instructs. "Bravo!" Ramsay exclaims as the student reveals a sliced piece of the tender, juicy steak.
