Give Tuna Salad A Major Flavor Boost With One Ingredient
BY LUNA CHRISTINA LUPUS
Tuna salad is refreshing, quick to make, and versatile due to its customizability. One way you can give this tasty dish an additional boost of flavor is by adding roasted garlic.
Compared to fresh garlic, which is famous for its sharp flavor, roasted garlic is soft, buttery, gentle on your taste buds, and a little bit sweet. It's easy to prepare, too.
You can roast a whole garlic bulb in an oven or an air fryer, then let it cool before adding it to the salad. Use a pickle fork to get the softened garlic out of its papery casing.
You can either add the roasted cloves as they are, mash them, squeeze them out of the bulb for a creamy texture, or turn them into a tangy, garlicky vinaigrette.
