12. Sausage Sandwich
Starbucks’ classic Sausage, Cheddar, & Egg Sandwich comes on a chewy, almost gummy English muffin, creating a strange texture, and it has no flavor except for pure saltiness.
This sandwich is essentially the meatless version of the Sausage, Cheddar, & Egg Sandwich. It has a similarly gluey bun and a meek, sage-heavy vegan sausage patty.
The Turkey Bacon, Cheddar, & Egg White Sandwich sandwich is the most health-conscious offering on the menu, but the bread was chewy, the egg was soggy, and the bacon was just okay.
The Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar, & Egg Sandwich has a very sweet croissant with very little bacon, which was slightly undercooked, rendering it more chewy than crispy.
Starbucks’ bagels have a crisp, chewy crust and a soft, slightly dense interior that, when paired with cream cheese, makes a filling (albeit somewhat basic) breakfast.
The Bacon & Gruyère Egg Bites are a touch too rich for our palettes. The Gruyère cheese flavor also wasn’t very detectable under the saltiness of the crumbled bacon topping.
The flatbread in the Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap was dense, but the sundried tomatoes, feta, spinach, and egg white were delicious, though we wanted less egg and more veggies.
