Baker Duff Goldman is known for his extraordinary cakes, and he revealed to Insider that he gets his cooking tools at a restaurant-supply store "because chefs need the best tools."
These stores sell tools that hold up to frequent use and are made to repeatedly withstand the washing cycle of a commercial dishwasher.
Additionally, their selection is beyond what you would find at other stores that sell kitchen wares, and they have different sizes of pretty much anything you might need.
The kitchen gear at a restaurant-supply store is also generally cheaper than at a department store or other kitchen retailer, which we can all get behind.
