Ernest Hemingway's Final Meal Was Also His Favorite

Ernest Hemingway’s last meal was a New York strip steak with a baked potato, Caesar salad, and a glass of wine, a favorite of his that he got at Michel's Christiania Restaurant.
The meal was ordered on June 1, 1961, just hours before his death by suicide. The famed author was found wearing blue pajamas, a plaid bathrobe, and moccasin slippers.
Despite being a well-traveled foodie who appreciated dishes from all over the world, his favorite always remained to be one from Michel's in Ketchum, Idaho.
