Dunkin's Cheapest Drink Option Vs Its Most Expensive
BY Autumn Swiers
To find the cheapest and priciest drinks on Dunkin's menu, we used the Dunkin' mobile app, focusing on the prices of medium-sized drinks from a store in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY.
The cheapest Dunkin' drink is a tie between hot drip coffee and hot tea at $3.25. The Dunkin' Midnight and Original Blend cost the same price, as do all the available tea flavors.
In recent years, coffee prices have surged by 79% due to droughts in Brazil and Vietnam and import pricing issues caused by new tariffs imposed by executive orders from America.
Still, Dunkin's drip coffee and tea prices are low, likely due to the minimal prep, which involves slamming the grounds into the machine or dropping the tea bag in a hot water cup.
The priciest drink is a tie between the Lava Cake Iced Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Iced Latte, Cocoa Mocha Iced Latte, Caramel Craze Iced Latte, and the Frozen Matcha Latte.
All the said drinks clock in at $5.59. Given that they all require more ingredients and more hands-on prep time for employees, the price point isn't exactly very surprising.
