Dunkin' Is Challenging McDonald's Using Halloween Buckets This Year
BY MATTHEW SPINA
Although not usually rivals, Dunkin’ is aiming at McDonald’s this autumn, specifically their Halloween buckets, which Dunkin’ is challenging with buckets of its own.
TikTok account Markie_Devo leaked news of the Dunkin’ buckets, which are supposedly set to drop on October 16, 2024 along with a new drink and donut for the holiday.
Dunkin’s Munchkin bucket has a purple color scheme with a Dunkin’ logo, packed with 50 bite-sized treats and a Munchkin-shaped Halloween character.
The Munchkin bucket is meant to rival McDonald’s "Boo Buckets," which are sold as a seasonal container alternative for the Happy Meal and often feature spooky designs.
As for the rest of Dunkin’s seasonal menu, they’re releasing an Ube-flavored drink and a purple-glazed donut with a Munchkin character, along with classic fall offerings.
