Duchess Kate's Home-cooked Dish That Prince William Loves Most
By CYRENA GOURDEAU
The life of the royals is a subject of fascination and scrutiny for the press and public alike and everything, from the clothes they wear to the food they like, is newsworthy. However, royals do a lot of things much like us commoners, and, sometimes, they get their hands dirty in the kitchen and cook for themselves, too.
Kate Middleton may now be the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge, but she's also a wife who loves to cook for her husband. A 2012 Vanity Fair profile of the Duchess gave glimpses into her newlywed and royal life, like grocery shopping at Waitrose or Morrisons and making a roast chicken supper for Prince William.
The Duchess even has a sausage maker in the kitchen, and she makes homemade jam while the Prince is out on royal circuit duty. The Duchess has also gifted homemade chutney made with squash, onions, apples, raisins, stoned dates, malt vinegar, brown sugar, salt, ginger, and mixed pickling spices.
