Disneyland's 2022 Holiday Menu Features Festive Cocktails
By JESSIE MOLLOY
The Disneyland resort is going all out for the holidays, from its wonderful winter wonderland decorations to its fantastic celebrations of winter holiday traditions worldwide. Winter-themed events at Disneyland will run until January 8, 2023, and these are a few of the festive cocktails that will be offered at food vendors.
California Adventure offers The Pomegranate Hard Float with hard pomegranate cider, lemon sorbet, and pomegranate arils, and the Pineapple-Fresno Chile Michelada, a tomato-based cocktail with Modelo, pineapple-fresno chile lemonade, and chile-lime seasoning. Other drinks include the Gingerbread Mule and the Winter Margarita.
The many Festival of the Holidays events offer drinks inspired by Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Diwali, Navidad, and Three Kings Day. Just two of these are Maple-Hazelnut Hot Buttered Rum and the Tiramisu Yule Log Cocktail, a mix of vodka, hazelnut liqueur, oat milk, tiramisu syrup, chocolate bitters, and chocolate powder.
Various vendors at the Downtown Disney District offer drinks like The Mistletoe Mule, made with vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and ginger beer with a sugared cranberry garnish, and the Candy Cane-rita, made with tequila, peppermint schnapps, grenadine, and organic margarita mix, topped off with rosemary and fresh cranberries.
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel will serve hot apple cider with shots of Bailey's Irish Cream, Captain Morgan, Grand Marnier, and more. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available, such as Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Vanilla Pear Honey Lemonade, and Christmas Punch with pomegranate, cranberry, orange juices, and Sprite.
