Dave's Vs Hattie B's: Which Makes The Better Hot Chicken Sandwich?
BY JENNIFER RICHMOND
Dave's Hot Chicken
Starting as a little popup in a Hollywood parking lot back in 2017, Dave's Hot Chicken now has several shops in the U.S., Dubai, and Canada.
Since then, the chain has exploded both in size and menu. You can enjoy their chicken sandwich in a variety of heat levels from no spice at all to "reaper."
Hattie B's
Unlike Dave's, Hattie B's started in Nashville, where Nashville hot chicken originated. At first, it operated as a cafeteria-style restaurant called Bishop's Meat & 3.
The father and son duo eventually added hot chicken to the menu, which quickly grew in popularity. Eventually, patrons could pick between seven different heat levels.
Prices
On the Vegas strip, a Dave's #4 meal, which includes one slider with fries, is $11.97. Anywhere else in the country (except Manhattan) that meal will only cost you $9.99.
At Hattie B's in Vegas, the hot chicken sandwich and one side comes to a hefty $16.50, but at all its other locations, the same meal only costs $12.
