Cottage cheese is good for more than eating plain: it can be used as an ice cream base, a cream cheese substitute, a cheesy boost in queso, and even in edible cookie dough.
In a TikTok video, user Jake Cohen shared a recipe for safe-to-eat cottage cheese cookie dough that can be whipped up in a blender. The dough is both tasty and packed with protein.
Start by thoroughly combining cottage cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a blender, then move it to a bowl and stir in almond flour and vanilla protein powder.
If you don’t like maple syrup, you can use honey instead, and just like with any kind of cookie dough, free to mix in tasty additions like peanut butter, chopped nuts, and M&M's.
