Costco Kirkland Signature Myths You Need To Stop Believing

Not all Kirkland Signature products are shrouded in secrecy. While some manufacturers don't place their names on the label, many others, like Keurig, do.
In addition, Costco itself owns factories that produce Kirkland Signature groceries, which helps keep costs down. Kirkland's hot dogs are probably the best-known example of this.

While you can buy Kirkland Signature products without a Costco membership on Amazon, Costco isn't selling them there — third-party resellers do.
Businesses can legally file appropriate resale paperwork with their Costco Business Center in order to buy and resell Costco products, including Kirkland Signature groceries.
Changing Manufacturers
Occasionally, Costco and a manufacturing partner decide to go separate ways, as happened in 2024 with some Kirkland Signature coffee products.
In 2024, Kirkland Signature changed the packaging of some of its coffee products being supplied by Starbucks, removing the coffee chain's name and logo.
