Comparing The World's Smallest And Largest Costco Stores

Costco's location at 300 West in Salt Lake City, Utah is 235,000 square feet, making it their largest. The smallest, found in Juneau, Alaska, is only 76,696 square feet.
For perspective, the company reports that the average size of its stores — known as warehouses — is around 147,000 square feet.
The largest Costco in Utah doubles as a business center, allowing the store to stock an additional 2,700 items. Conversely, Juneau's location only stocks about 3,200 items.
