Poke cakes are an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert. To make this treat even easier and give it good flavor and a moist, creamy texture, use coconut cream instant pudding.
Instead of having to use a multitude of ingredients to get the flavor, the pudding packet provides quick and easy sweetness and coconut flavor.
Start by combining pudding mix with milk. Ensure the mixture doesn't become gelatinous, as you'll want it to stay in a liquid form so that the cake can absorb it.
While flavored pudding packets may not gain full pudding thickness when added to poke cakes, some of the mixture may create a thin pudding layer on top that adds new texture.
