Can You Turn Costco's Frozen Salmon Into Sashimi?
BY TRACY DOUCETTE
Costco offers great seafood, especially salmon, which can be used in many ways. They even encourage customers to use their frozen salmon for making sashimi.
Costco's farm-raised, frozen salmon meets sashimi standards, as it is frozen for a period of seven days and is fed on parasite-free feed.
To prepare frozen salmon, ensure it is thawed properly, either in the fridge or in an ice bath. Once it is thawed, the salmon is sashimi-ready and can be eaten raw.
