Can You Consider Nespresso's Coffee Mold-Free?
BY Eibhlis Gale-Coleman
If you're worried about mold growing in Nespresso coffee, be assured that it uses hermetically sealed aluminum capsules for long-lasting freshness. So, in theory, it is mold-free.
While the sealing is a big green flag, there's no guarantee of mold-free Nespresso coffee, as spores will have many opportunities to develop during bean production.
It helps to know if the beans are moldy, so make sure to check the beans for fuzzy spore growth, which can appear as white, black, and green patches.
