Butter And Salt Is All You Need To Alter Raisins
BY MICHELLE WELSCH
With minimal effort, you can transform jars of dried raisins into sweet, juicy treats that can be enjoyed alone as an afternoon snack or incorporated into your favorite recipes.
To make these buttery raisins, first melt unsalted butter in a skillet and add your preferred flavors and aromatics like Himalayan salt, lemon zest, or basil.
Once the butter is melted, add your dried raisins and let them cook for two or three minutes, until the small orbs become warm and juicy in their butter bath.
These delicious sweet treats can be smothered onto toast or folded into baked treats like cookies, bread puddings, cakes, or galettes. Add them to waffles, salads, or ice cream.
