Boozy Eggnogs From Worst To Best

Old New England Classic
Old New England Classic Egg Nog comprises brandy, whiskey, rum, bourbon, and fresh dairy. With a 15% alcohol by volume (ABV), it has intense alcoholic notes.
It has some creaminess, notes of vanilla, and a nice egg-like taste, but the creamy and alcoholic flavors and textures don't blend well. Plus, it comes with a watery aftertaste.
Old New England Pumpkin
Old New England Pumpkin Spiced Nog is made with the same base as the brand's classic flavor but includes additional flavors like sweet pumpkin.
The eggnog is very strong, but the other flavors kick in fast to overpower the blend of liquor. When swallowed, it feels watery and offers an aftertaste that's entirely alcohol.
Skrewball Peanut Butter
With a 14.75% ABV and a salty peanut butter smell, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey Eggnog is one of the thickest ones we tried, but it could use more sugar.
The eggnog initially tastes like it's made with salted peanuts instead of peanut butter, but the peanut butter taste does become noticeable when it's swallowed.
Ole Smoky Pumpkin Spice
The Ole Smoky Pumpkin Spice Cream Moonshine is 17.5% ABV and has a smooth, creamy texture filled with many flavors. However, it doesn't taste very alcoholic.
It has a nice sweetness, and the pumpkin flavor really sits on the tongue. That said, it isn't incredibly nog-like, and you might not notice too much of the classic egg flavor.
Yule Nog Fireball
At 16.5% ABV, Yule Nog Fireball is an eggnog made with Fireball. Unfortunately, the strong cinnamon whiskey flavors hide the taste of eggnog.
The Fireball pairs well with the eggnog’s creaminess, but any actual eggy taste is wiped out by the cinnamon. The drink tastes more like a cinnamon-flavored liqueur than an eggnog.
