Andre The Giant Drank A Startling Amount Of Beer

A legendary professional wrestler, Andre the Giant was also known for his big appetite, including for alcohol. He could reportedly consume 7,000 calories of alcohol a day.
Specifically, his ability to drink beer was record-breaking. In a 1984 appearance on "Late Night with David Letterman," Andre confirmed that he drank 117 beers in one sitting.
Other stories involved Andre drinking more than 125 beers in New Orleans, as told by journalist Bill Apter to WWE. Another wrestler spoke of how he drank 156 beers in one sitting.
Though his drinking feats were never recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records, it is widely accepted that he is the record holder for the most beers consumed in one sitting.
