Alton Brown Swears By These Food Magazines

When asked to name some of his favorite food magazines during a Spoon University interview, chef Alton Brown rattled off not one or two, but three publications he reads often.
The first magazine Brown named was Bon Appétit. As he put it, “I like Bon Appétit from the '80s because the truth is there aren't that many recipes, they all just get recycled.”
The celebrity chef then added, “I really like the magazine Saveur because it also teaches you about cultures … And if you really want to understand cooking, Cook's Illustrated.”
