All You Need Is A Milk Frother To Elevate Your Bourbon Drinking Experience
BY SIMONE GERBER
Bourbon may seem perfect on its own, but a milk frother can enhance the flavor of your favorite label by rapidly aerating the whiskey, which helps its taste and scent come out.
All whiskeys benefit when exposed to the air, giving the spirit time to "breathe" and letting the taste and scent evolve. A milk frother conveniently speeds up the process.
All you have to do is pour out a glass of bourbon and froth it for 30-60 seconds. Experiment with different frothers and durations to see what you prefer.
If you don't have a milk frother, you can put your bourbon in a blender for a similar length of time for an aerating effect.
If these super-speedy approaches don't sound good to you, aerate your bourbon using more traditional tools, such as a wine aerating spout or a classic decanter.
