All You Need For This Helpful Vegetable Oil Trick Is A Fork
By SHAYE GLISSON
One of the most useful all-purpose ingredients in your kitchen is vegetable oil, which has a high smoking point, is mild and flavorless because it comes from plant components. Unfortunately, many people dislike how difficult it can be to pour out of its large opening.
Most cooking oil bottles have a rather large opening, so if you don't move slowly, the oil can pour out too quickly. The Kitchn has a terrific DIY tip for controlling the amount of oil we pour out when cooking, and all it takes is a fork!
After opening the lid for the first time, refrain from taking the foil paper seal off underneath, and instead poke holes in it with a fork. This will allow you to drizzle the oil over anything you cook, so no more over pouring!
